Sherry Singh was again called back by the CCID on Thursday 04 August. He was summoned for a different matter than the complaint of the Prime Minister, Pravind Jugnauth. On his arrival at the Line Barracks, Sherry has made it clear that “a true leader must know how to take orders from institutions“.
He was summoned to the Central Barracks for questioning following Bruneau Laurette’s July 28 Complaint against the PM over the sniffing allegations. Sherry Singh put his right to silence back on the table, hence the fact that his appearance lasted only about fifteen minutes. Neither the person concerned, the former CEO of MT, nor his lawyer, Gavin Glover made any statement on the matter to the press.
