The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Mauritius with residence in Pretoria, Mr Goran Vujičić, paid a courtesy call, today, on the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, at the New Treasury Building, in Port Louis.
In a statement, the Serbian Ambassador described the meeting with the Prime Minister as fruitful. He stressed that talks with Mr Jugnauth were a follow-up to discussions they had previously on the way to promote and further develop bilateral relations between Mauritius and Serbia.
According to Mr Vujičić, both sides spoke, too, of collaboration in the economic field as well as multilateral cooperation since Mauritius and Serbia were members of the United Nations and other international organisations.
It is recalled that the Serbian Ambassador presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun, last October.
Mr Goran Vujičić is also currently the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to South Africa.
