The information obtained by elements of the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) of the Metropolitan Division proved to be true. A raid on Friday morning, October 7, found a large quantity of heroin, 194.95 grams, in a house occupied by Pierre Robin Permal, 43, in Karo Kaliptis, Roche-Bois. The market value of the drugs is estimated at Rs 2,924,250. The sum of Rs 76,100, suspected to be from the sale of the drugs, was also seized.
For some time, the men of the ADSU of the Metropolitan Division, led by Inspector Vally, had information that a drug trafficking was taking place in a house in Karo Kaliptis, Roche-Bois. This is how, at about 10:15 on Friday morning, October 7, a raid was carried out in the house occupied by Pierre Robin Permal.
Scattered on a table, the police officers seized a transparent plastic containing in turn 7 other plastics containing heroin, 43.95 grams, 14 adhesive bands each containing 18 doses, a total of 252 doses weighing 61 grams, a transparent plastic with 465 doses, whose weight makes 90 grams of heroin.
These ADSU officers also found a scale, a pair of scissors, a black adhesive tape and pieces of aluminum foil cut into rectangular shapes and the sum of Rs 76,100, which is suspected of Robin Permal was taken to the headquarters of the ADSU with the exhibits. He was subsequently taken into custody. This Saturday morning, October 8, he will be brought before the Bail and Remand Court (BRC). He is facing a provisional charge of drug trafficking.
