They were still in a wait till Friday 18th and parents swarmed the respective school offices in vain. According to the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) Communique emitted in late afternoon of the 18th, the 200 Special candidates are called to collect their results this Monday morning, which also marks the resumption of schools.
These are the results for the resit exam that took place from 8th to 10th of June. It concerned 200 schoolchildren who could not take part in those of the PSAC who were suffering or who were in quarantine because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Coordinators appointed by the MES will have to collect the results and other administrative school documents at Réduit between 6 to 7 am the same day.
The distribution of results slip will proceed in alphabetical order, A – L from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and M – Z from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the respective schools where the examination took place. They will be given to parents on presentation of an identity document.
Those 200 students are intended to be admitted to grade 7 and resume to their respective classes after the results the same day.
