The Ptr/MMM/PMSD alliance is causing a stir within the Labour Party. Ajay Rughoobur, former member of the Labour Party Executive Committee and former Campaign Manager for Constituency 6, handed in his letter of resignation to leader Navin Ramgoolam on Saturday.
After almost 30 years with the PTr, Ajay Rughoobur says that the decision to forge closer ties with the MMM and PMSD is incomprehensible in rural areas. He also explains that there is a deep malaise in constituency n°6.
In his letter to the leader of the Reds, he points out that the people appointed to work on the ground in the constituency are not up to the job. According to him, the No.6 electorate feels lost, demobilized, and frustrated.
He believes that this trend will lead the PTr to another defeat.
