“Si to touss sa tuyau la, mo pou coup to lamin, mou pou touy twa, mo enterr twa la eme”. This is the threat that a chief inspector of police would have made to his sister-in-law, a 38 year old saleswoman and resident of Belvedere in the early evening of Friday, December 31. This is because her mother-in-law stopped an individual at her house who was taking iron bars into her garage.
It is at the police station of Brisée-Verdière that the thirty-year-old gave a statement to this effect. This incident she said took place around 10 o’clock in the morning of Friday December 31. That day, she was at home when she saw an individual coming out of her garage and taking iron bars. She stopped the man and told him to put the iron bars back.
At the same time, her brother-in-law, who is a police chief inspector and who lives in the same yard, arrived and told her the following sentence, “Si to touss sa tuyau la, mo pou coup to lamin, mou pou touy twa, mo enterr twa la eme”.
