He has exhibited all over Europe. In Mauritius, for four months, the artist will hold his first exhibition: “This is an opportunity to present my work to Mauritians. For this first exhibition, I will show 7 paintings, four of which were painted in Mauritius. I brought the other 3 with me from Istanbul.
Visible from 3 pm to 10 pm, the exhibition will most likely be traveling: “We are negotiating to present the exhibition elsewhere. But for now, it will only be visible at Cheer’s Bar from 3pm to 10pm,” explains the artist, originally from Rome, Italy.
Note that the public will be able to purchase Christian’s paintings on site if they wish.
Christian Pertosa was born in 1968 in Rome, the city where he lives and works. Self-taught, he studied art history at the Sapienza University, before becoming interested in graphic design, painting and sculpture. His inspirations come from Mith d’Er in the “Republic of Plato”, Rosso Fiorentino, Max Beckmann and all expressionism.
