And it’s a wrap 4 gold medal in 4 distances (100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m) at the ACT State Championship. Unfortunately she could not do the 800m on Friday as her chair was getting fixed. She is very happy with all competitions there. She even broke the African Record twice in the 400m last week. She said that she has made new friends here and got the chance to do some mentoring also.
On Saturday, Noémi Alphonse won the finals of the 1500m (3m37s88), 100m (16s68) and 400m (55s13). The Mauritian beat the Australian Angela Ballard, silver medallist of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and multiple medallists of the Paralympic Games in 1500m.
This Sunday, Noémi Alphonse is 1st in her 100m semi-final. The final is due later.
