Originally from Curepipe, Abel comes from a family of musicians. Inspired by gospel music, it was with this musical genre that the young man made his debut: “It all started with gospel. In 2020, during the confinement, I started posting covers on my social networks. People really liked them and that’s what encouraged me to start writing my own songs. Meeting Tii Alexandre, Bomboclak and Bigg Frankii also helped me break into music. ”
In 2022, he signed his first single: “I sang Dengue dengue as a duet with Tii Alexandre. The song did really well.
So much so that in July, Abel will hit even harder with ‘To tousel’: “If Dingue Dingue introduced me to the general public. To tousel has largely contributed to my popularity, and I’m very proud of that.”
On 22 September, the artist will release his 3rd single: “The title is Jackpot, and once again it’s all about love and women. The song will be accompanied by a video clip.”
The artist also took part in the Mauritius Open Air Festival last July.
