The interpreter of ‘Ravann ape bate’ returns with his signature – ambient sega. The Roche-Bois-based singer has just released ‘Sifone sega’: “The title of the song came about as a joke. I then dug a little deeper into the theme to offer Mauritians a good atmospheric sega as the festive season approaches.”
At the launch, the clip was also unveiled: “I’d like to thank the Mauritius Film Development Corporation for the helping hand they gave me in producing the clip. My thanks also go to the other patrons who helped me release the clip and the audio version of the single.”
In terms of promotion, the artist hopes that his new single will open other doors for him: “I’m expecting this new track to take me around the island a bit to promote it in Mauritius and abroad if the opportunity arises.”
Sylvain Kaleecharan has already confirmed his participation in the next Festival Kréol, to be held from December 2 to 10.
