Originally from Mauritius, Celita Appadhoo – 23 years old, is currently representing the country at the first edition of Miss Round International. The final is scheduled for December 10 in France.
They are ten. From different countries such as Guadeloupe, Italy, Cape Verde or Cameroon among others, all hope to wear the diadem and thus do honor to their country.
Born in France but of Mauritian origin by her parents, Celita Appadhoo is among the candidates: “I was contacted by the organizing committee via social networks. Living without complex, I wanted to try the adventure in the hope of defending Mauritius at best.”
Mother of four children, the young woman is preparing seriously to put all the chances on her side: “We have regular coaching sessions to ensure our preparation. I apply myself a lot and I have the support of my whole family.
On December 10, during the final, the young woman wishes to make better known her Mauritian origins: “In addition to a parade in gala dress, traditional costume and swimsuit, each candidate will have the opportunity to speak about his country. I intend in my speech to better publicize the culture of Mauritius.”
