He was the hottest favourite of the day and he delivered the job. Walls Of Dubrovnik took the lead easily and Brazilian jockey Ivaldo Satana relaxed him in front. He step up the gear gradually as from the 600m mark and he drew clear easily in the first part of the final straight. Santana did not use the whip and he rode Walls Of Dubrovnik hands and heels. He won the race easily in front of Bollinger who came back strongly very late.
