A real revolution on the Internet market: since Monday September 18, Mauritius Telecom has been offering its residential customers new and unrivalled my.t home offers with double the Internet speed for the same price. The new offers were launched by the Honourable Deepak Balgobin, Minister of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation, and MT CEO Kapil Reesaul.

Double speed on 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps offers
50 and 100 Mbps my.t Home customers will be delighted as Mauritius Telecom doubles the speed of their Internet connection at the same rate (i.e. Rs1500/month for 50Mbps and Rs2000/month for 100Mbps). Customers with 100Mbps will see their speed increase to 200Mbps, with the following included in their offer: 2 Premium TV packs, a 4TB download volume, improved Wi-Fi coverage with a Wi-Fi 6 modem and a Wi-Fi 6 Extender, as well as an upload speed increase from 20 to 30Mbps.
Those on the 50 Mbps offer will automatically switch to 100 Mbps at no extra cost. This new offer includes 2 Premium TV packs and a 2 TB download volume. Upload speed increases from 10 to 20 Mbps.
50 Mbps speed for all 20 Mbps my.t Home customers
Customers on the 20 Mbps offer (priced at Rs1200/month) will see their Internet connection speed increased to 50 Mbps (x2.5), with a download volume of 1TB, for the same price. Similarly, upload speeds will increase from 8 Mbps to 10 Mbps.
A new 300 Mbps offer
Another new feature announced at the launch was Mauritius Telecom’s new fiber broadband offer, priced at Rs 2500/month, with a download speed of 300 Mbps and a download volume of 6 TB, as well as a Wi-Fi 6 modem and a Wi-Fi 6 Extender. This offer is particularly suited to households with 6 to 7 users, who enjoy gaming, streaming and Work from Home. The new 300Mbps offer also includes 2 Premium TV packs, and customers will benefit from an upload speed of 50 Mbps.
1 Gbps and 500 Mbps offers: more upload speed
Customers with a 1 Gbps connection can enjoy higher upload speeds, from 60 Mbps to 100 Mbps, for faster video posting on social networks, live streaming, videoconferencing, online gaming and more.
The 1 Gbps offer also includes over 100 my.t TV channels, Showmax Pro, 15 TB download volume, unlimited fixed voice calls (MT to MT fixed voice only) and Wi-Fi coverage with a Wi-Fi 6 modem and Wi-Fi 6 Extender.
Customers on the 500 Mbps offer will benefit from an upload speed boost from 40 Mbps to 80 Mbps, for faster posting of videos on social networks, photo sharing and more. The 500 Mbps offer includes 2 Premium TV packages, a 10 TB download volume, a Wi-Fi 6 modem and a Wi-Fi 6 Extender.
Wi-Fi soon in every room of your home (FTTR; Fibre to the Room)
In addition, Wi-Fi in every room of the house will soon be a reality for 1Gbps and 500 Mbps customers. Mauritius Telecom will be offering Fibre-to-the-room (FTTR), a solution that will guarantee a world-class internet experience with in-room fiber connectivity and a Wi-Fi 6 box to cover in-room propagation.
