Jean-Yves L’Onflé is back in the exhibition space. The painter is already booked to show his talent both this year and next.
With the lifting of certain health restrictions, artists are bubbling with creativity. Especially since they can now reconnect with art lovers.
This is the case for Jean-Yves L’Onflé. Living in Tamarin, the artist has not been idle for months: “With other artists I participated in a group exhibition held on Saturday, October 23 at Coeur Cap Tamarin. On October 28, I also presented two paintings at the Nelson Mandela Center. The theme of the exhibition was Lafrik dan mwa.
2021 is not even over that the artist is already expected to other exhibitions in 2022: “I will participate in the biennials of the Seychelles. Then I will have an exhibition at the Museum of Slavery that will open soon in Port Louis. In addition, I am also working on my solo exhibition to be held in Mauritius or Reunion. So I have a very busy artistic agenda for next year,” jokes the artist.
