It’s Imperative We Have A Third Force, Says Sherry Singh

The former CEO of Mauritius Telecom continues his political pilgrimage. This Thursday, he met Patrick Belcourt, leader of En Avant Moris. After the meeting, Sherry Singh made a statement in which he flatters Patrick Belcourt, whom he described as “a competent professional with a big heart”, who shares his vision regarding the country’s problems. Sherry Singh insisted that the people want this government to leave as soon as possible. However, he said that this is a democracy, and it must and will be done under the rule of law. He also added that there is a need for a third force that will unite all Mauritians who are fed up with the government. He called on every Mauritian, irrespective of their political affiliation, to express themselves and address their message to the government. “We have to start working on an alternative and the future of the country,” said Sherry Singh. In this regard, he said that he wants to see if he can contribute.
