Less one month after the opening of its borders with Mauritius, Madagascar intends to close any flight connections with Mauritius and the last flight is expected for 27th November.
The decision was taken yesterday by the Malagasy Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of President Andry Nirina Rajoelina.
The Council noted that in the face of the outbreak of Covid 19 in Mauritius, which has seen several cases over a period of time, the Republic of Madagascar’s campaign to protect the population will be intensified. Thus, it is expected to close the airline route connecting the two countries.
For how long will they close this route?
