In Vacoas: Sculptures And Statues Of Paul And Virginie Stolen From Emanuelle Richon’s Home

A most audacious theft has been committed at the home of Emmanuel Richon, 64, director of the Blue Penny Museum in Vacoas over the past fortnight. The perpetrators, who they suspect were his two gardeners, took three statues of Paul and Virginie, a clock with a sculpture of Paul and Virginie, a lamp and a French military hat. All valued at Rs 120,000.

In the early evening of Tuesday April 30, Emmanuel Richon went to the Vacoas police station to report the theft from his home. According to his complaint, the theft had been committed during the previous fortnight. He has no surveillance cameras at home. He suspects two of his gardeners, a man and a woman, of being the perpetrators of this theft.

The Criminal Investigation Division of Vacoas has been seized of this case.
