The inaugural season of House of Digital Art (HoDA) in Port-Louis draws to a close on March 16. Mauritians have three weeks to marvel at the magical installations created by the founders of PORLWI. Season 2 is scheduled for April 2024.
Under the theme ‘If there was a land between noon and midnight,’ HoDA has welcomed over 26,000 visitors since its opening in July 2023.
The installations at HoDA offer total immersion in digital art, inviting visitors to revisit our island, explore our origins, and rethink our history through the prism of art and technology. This first season still has so much to offer and discover through volumetric, kinetic, augmented reality and interactive installations.
So there are just three weeks left to discover 12 works ranging from the genesis of our islands, to the birth of volcanoes, to the first maps of the island and the ocean floor, via Lemuria, all thanks to the magic of digital technology.
