The main race on Saturday will be contested over 2050m for horses with a rating of 50 and above. The small field will be very competitive with Special Blend, Free To Win and Lunafacation which offer the best guarantees.
Special Blend did his best on its previous outing but was beaten by Your Pace Or Mine who was at his best. He remains a very consistent runner with two victories and four second places to his credit this season. He can stay the 2050m and he will be the main danger at the finish.
Free To Win will run for the second week in a row. He won easily over 1600m last Saturday. Free To Win will run over such a long trip for the first time. He can be right there if he shows stamina.
Lunafacation did his best during his last outing when he fought well to take third place 0.45L from Alshibaa over 2100m. He has shown good consistency on the long courses this season with two victories over 1850m and 2200m. He is a very good front runner who will be difficult to catch if he races up front. He will carry the light weight of 53.5 kg and he will reunite with jockey Dinesh Sooful. This duo has won twice this season.
Absolutist scored a victory on the 28th meeting but was unable to win again afterwards. The 2050m will better suit him. He can upset the odds if he performs at his best level.
Hubble is also an excellent front runner. He has never won beyond 1850m. He drew a good line at the start, and he can be very dangerous if he runs freely in front.
