Saturday’s main race will be run over 990m for horses of Merit Ratig 50 and above. Only five runners will be at the start with Triple Fate Line who will make his comeback after his brilliant win over this trip in July.
Triple Fate Line returns after a good rest. He won easily over 990m on July 15, coming from the back. He ran in record time, but this was not officially recorded as there was an issue with the timekeepers.
Triple Fate Line did well in training. He is still in a very good physical condition and will have Henry Tudor as his main opponent once again. Triple Fate Line will be hard to beat if he repeats his last race.
Henry Tudor is an excellent sprinter who still performs well despite getting old. He took a little break after his last poor performance when he finished 4th, 5.45L behind Frosted Gold. He will try to full advantage of his light weight to try to take his revenge on Triple Fate Line.
Emblem Of Hope won in his comeback race this year. But he suffered health problems and his performance declined. He nevertheless remains a good competitor who can surprise.
Marauding did not make a strong impression during its barrier trial quite recently. He can come up with good performances, but he can still progress in terms of his condition. He will return to competition after eleven months of rest and might need that run.
Valyrian King did not live up to expectations since racing in Mauritius. He is a pure sprinter with a verry good South-African form who can finish in the money.
