The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, Science and Technology has issued a communique for parents of children who will take the PSAC 2021 -2022 exams and who will go to high school next year.
Here is the communiqué:

Provision of information materials to parents-
As part of the Grade 7 secondary school registration exercise for January 2023, parents of Grade 5 students taking the PSAC 2021-2022, are requested to visit the school their child is currently attending on Monday, July 25, 2022 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
They will be given the following documents:
(i) an information document on the admission procedures for Grade 7;
(ii) an explanatory guide for their child’s enrollment in Grade 7 in a secondary school in January 2023; and
(iii) the original and a copy of the registration form.

Information meeting
Parents will be invited by the principal to a meeting during which they will receive information and explanations on the enrollment procedures and the admission exercise. The day and time of this meeting will be communicated to them by the school director.

Submission of applications for admission
Parents must complete and return the original application form to the school principal no later than Friday, August 12, 2022. Parents must bring the completed application form and their identification card to school.
NOTE: The school staff will be available to advise and guide parents who need assistance in filling out the form.
