Khalid Nazroo exhibits his paintings at Imaaya Gallery in Phoenix until November 4th. Solaire, his umpteenth exhibition is a warm invitation into the artist’s universe.
Khalid Nazroo returns with another exhibition. Direction this time the skies, or throne at its zenith a sun and its tones that color our lives and especially that of the artist: “The works exhibited at the gallery are colorful and this is what inspired the title of the exhibition. The public will find prints and paintings made through mixed media. Mauritius is the common thread since the majority of the works were painted during the confinement. It was my way of ignoring the restrictions.
After Solaire, the artist is also working on his next exhibition: “The next one will be collective. It will take place with other artists on a project set up by The third dot.”
As a reminder, Khalid Nazroo has been holding exhibitions since he was 17. Now 68 years old, the artist has exhibited both in Mauritius and abroad.
