After 20 years in the music business, Guy Blanko of Solda Kaz Bad is launching himself into the event business. The artist intends to make the East the new place to be for local music.
Born in the region of Flacq, Guy Blanko is working on a project that has been close to his heart for a long time. Namely to transform the East of the country into a musical pole. To do this, he created WAO Prod: “WAO is an acronym that means We Are One. The goal is to work with known and little known artists to give everyone the chance to perform on a stage and more in the East which is currently a bit orphan in terms of concerts, “explains the artist.
Thus a site has already been identified, and if all goes well, the place will welcome its first audience next year: “It is a strategic place. Easy to access, it will allow music lovers in the East to come and see local and international artists. This cultural venue will be able to host both indoor and outdoor concerts. We still have some work to complete before it becomes operational in 2023.”
