The Folkloric Explorer – Zero pollution E-Boat has won two awards for its eco-responsibility. Marcel Lindsay Noë – the boat’s designer – is very proud of these awards.

On 1 June, for the 2nd year running, the Folkloric Explorer – Zero pollution E-Boat won the gold distinction at the Sustainable Tourism Mauritius Award in the Boat & Pleasure Craft Operators category: “Sailing on solar energy, our e-boat produces no waste. Above all, it is indisputable proof that it is possible to use non-fossil fuel energy. What’s more, Folkloric Explorer – Zero pollution E-Boat goes even further, as it is closely linked with the NGO Société pour la Promotion des Entreprises Spécialisées (SPES), which supports the local population in various ways. On 3 June, the NGO was also awarded the National Innovator Hall of Fame in the NGO category. “explains Marcel Lindsay Noë.
As well as using green energy, the Folkloric Explorer – Zero pollution E-Boat offers customers on board the chance to discover the historical aspect of Vieux Grand Port. A 100% organic food stopover is also part of one of the two packages on offer.
