Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are expected to visit the UK and Germany in the first week of September.
On Monday, the spokesperson for the couple said, “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are delighted to visit with several charities close to their hearts in early September.”
As the spokesperson stated, the couple would be attending the One Young World 2022 Manchester Summit in the UK on September 5 and the Invictus Games Dusseldorf held in Germany on September 6. They would also be present at the WellChild Awards 2022 in the UK on September 8.
Harry and Meghan, in 2020, moved to the United States, and last visited the UK on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, in June, when the monarch, for the first time, met their daughter, Lilibet.
Since Harry and Meghan had separated from the royal family in 2020 and could no longer carry out their royal duties, the couple did not join the Queen along with the rest of the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony as only royals with official duties were included.
Harry and Meghan attended the jubilee celebrations and received warmth and cheer from the crowd upon their arrival.
However, the British press have speculated on how the couple would have to step back from the royal family and return to California.
