The draw for the 2022 FIFA World Cup took place on Friday in Qatar and there was plenty of drama. The United States was placed with England, Mexico with Argentina, Spain with Germany and Portugal in a group with Uruguay and Ghana.
And then we note that the French team will face Denmark, Tunisia and the winner of Australia – United Arab Emirates / Peru. Belgium inherited Canada, Morocco and Croatia, runner-up in the world championship, on Friday, in the draw for the World Cup of soccer held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
The Red Devils have been placed in Group F and will enter the competition on November 23 against Canada. Spain vs. Germany should also be an entertaining clash, as both teams have plenty of young talent hoping to emulate the World Cup winners of years past.
Belgium vs. Croatia will also be interesting, while Ghana will have a chance to exorcise their demons from the 2010 edition, when Asamoah Gyan missed the opportunity to eliminate Uruguay after Luis Suarez handled the ball on the goal line.
The World Cup will bring together 32 teams divided into eight groups of four. The top two teams in each group will advance to the next round.
Twenty-nine participants in the World Cup are known. The last three tickets will be awarded in the two intercontinental play-offs and the final European play-off.
