The closing ceremony of the 12th Indian Ocean Youth and Sports Commission (IOYC) Games took place on Sunday evening at the National Sports Complex in Gold Coast.
On this occasion the flag of the Games was handed over to Ralph Jean-Louis, Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Sports of Seychelles for the organization of the 13th Games in 2025. “Nou zwen zot seysel en 2025” said, Ralph Jean-Louis
It is the Honorable Stephan Toussaint, Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation in the presence of Acting Prime Minister Steeven Obeegadoo who declared the Games closed.
After the protocol part, it is to the rhythm of sega with live artists on stage such as Nancy Derougere, Elaijah, The Prophecy and Mr Love among others that athletes and officials danced.
