The competition which brought together four countries namely Mauritius, Reunion, Seychelles and Mayotte was played in Cote d’Or under a league formula. Reunion Island won the gold medal for boys and girls. Mauritius won the silver medal for boys and bronze for girls.
The men’s team of Mauritius was beaten by Reunion 8-2 in its last match. The Seychelles won the bronze medal in this category.
In the girls’ category, Mauritius was heavily beaten 8-1 by Reunion. Mayotte won largely against the Seychelles 12-1 and thus gets the silver medal.
