This is the number of distinctions that the Mauritian director has won during the AIFF. He does not hide his satisfaction: “It is an honor for me to have been able to carry the Mauritian flag so high in international festivals. My satisfaction is even greater, because I was also awarded for The Truth – The evolution of Gandhi at the prestigious JIFF,” explains this high school teacher.
For 2022, the director is already working on two projects: “The first one is a music video for Valentine’s Day. In addition, I am also working on The hidden bracelet – a horror series of 4 to 5 episodes. I want to get Mauritians used to following locally produced series.
