Martine Fong and Wendy Rex got married yesterday in the 5th arrondissement in Paris. The two lovebirds have known each other for two years.
Naturally. This is how Martine Fong describes the beginning of her relationship with Wendy Rex: “It was the singer Basco who introduced us. After that, Wendy became my manager to take charge of my music career. In July of last year, we got serious. The feeling of love came naturally with the blessing of our respective families and children.”
If the ceremony took place in all intimacy, the couple plans a reception in Mauritius soon: “With the exception of my brother, my family could not make the trip because of health restrictions. However, they were able to follow the ceremony live via social networks. But, this is only a postponement, because a reception will be given in Mauritius very soon.”
For the moment the couple does not intend to return to the country permanently: “With Wendy we have many projects that we will oversee from France. We intend to create more content for WM Productions to promote the music of the islands. For the time being, our priorities are not to settle permanently in Mauritius.”
A few days before Valentine’s Day, Martine does not know yet what her Jules has in store for her: “He tells me he has reserved a surprise for me. I’m not against a little extra attention on this occasion. But for us, Valentine’s Day is every day. And I must say that I am spoiled since Wendy gives me flowers every week.”
