The Nurses’ Union paid tribute to the fallen Frontliners of Covid-19 with a Candlelight.
The Candlelight was held in front of the St. Louis Cathedral on Monday, December 13. Nurses’ Union members were dressed in white t-shirts with the slogan “Nurses’ Lives Matter”.
Many health care workers were present, but also politicians and activists, such as former minister Vasant Bunwaree and Bruneau Laurette from Linion Sitwayin.
But also, the vicar-general, Jean-Maurice Labour.
During the whole week, the nurses of the hospitals will wear a white t-shirt with the slogan Nurses’ Lives Matter.
