Black Adam, one of DC’s biggest villains, has proven to be the most dangerous archenemy of the superhero Captain Marvel aka Shazam. The comic villain’s fans have loved the character’s real version in the recent movie The Black Adam which was portrayed by actor Dwayne Johnson.
The movie was a huge hit among moviegoers and fans worldwide as it earned over $258 million at the box office. The movie saw many DCU characters trying all their powers to defeat the powerhouse that Black Adam is, like JSA members Hawkman, Doctor Fate, and Cyclone.
Black Adam has all the powers of Egyptian Gods like speed, stamina, and strength and it is hard for even the most powerful heroes to take him down in a battle. So here are some superheroes whom Black Adam can beat in a fight.
Green Arrow
Green Arrow is the best archer in the DC Universe but because he has no superpowers, it is almost impossible for him to beat a powerful villain like Black Adam. The way Black Adam attacks is too fast and thunderous for someone who has no special power but arrows.
Nightwing
Nightwing is Batman’s first apprentice and has faced many villains but none as powerful as Black Adam. Though Nightwing shares a lot of traits with Batman, he neither has the powerful tools nor the right strength to last him in the fight against Black Adam.
Black Canary
Another DC character Black Canary is also not much powerful against Black Adam as even her biggest weapon, Canary Cry, could not stand against the least power of the supervillain. Canary’s sonic weapon Canary Cry would not be enough to stop Black Adam who can travel faster than sound. The physical strength of both fighters is nowhere comparable.
Starfire
Starfire is superbly strong and durable and can survive the vacuum of space. Her Starbolts are quite threatening but Black Adam’s strength and speed can be weakened by none. His stamina is also one aspect of his overall brutal personality that would last him till the end of any battle.
Gorilla Grodd
Gorilla Grodd’s two biggest powers, immense strength and his ability to control minds, can be easily dodged by Black Adam due to his massive strength. The supervillain can resist mental attacks even if he cannot totally prevent them. So, all in all, he can pretty much still easily win against the Gorrila beast.
Aquaman
Aquaman, the King of Atlantis, has a long history of being undefeated but would have a difficult time trying to beat Black Adam.
Though Aquaman is the strongest at sea and has the same strength as Kahndaq’s protector, Black Adam, it will be a close fight but Aquaman even with his full potential would still fall in battle with Black Adam.
Hawkgirl
Hawkgirl is one of the fiercest members of the Justice League, but her ferocity would have to pay a heavy price when fighting Black Adam. Though Hawkgirl’s Nth Metal gives her immense strength, it is still not enough to take someone like Black Adam down. Hawkgirl would put up a good fight against Black Adam but will also be overwhelmed by his raw power.
Cyborg
Cyborg, even with his technological gifts, is no match for Black Adam’s powers. Black Adam’s lightning stroke cannot be withheld from Cyborg’s defensive weaponry. He can only buy time to delay his obvious defeat.
Deathstroke
Though Deathstroke is a great villain in The Batman sequel, he is in no way close to defeating Black Adam. With his massive armory, Deathstroke can be a worthy nemesis for Batman and many other heroes, but this would not last long in a battle against Black Adam. Deathstroke’s healing factor will not help if Black Adam chose to vaporize him.
Bane
Bane, an unshakeable and brutal being gets his strength from the supply of Venom, which enhances his mobility. But if the supply of Venom is cut short, he turns weak. Black Adam can easily figure this out and owing to his immense strength, it won’t be long before he can cut Bane’s Venom tube and defeat him.
