A week after improving his own national indoor 60m hurdles record to 7.77 seconds, Jérémie Lararaudeuse struck again, taking the national record to 7.71 seconds.
Jérémie Lararaudeuse won the B final of the 60m hurdles event at the Miramas Métropole Indoor Meeting. Starting from the fourth lane, the Mauritian dominated the event, clearing all five hurdles with disconcerting ease.
In the end, Jérémie Lararaudeuse set the national record in 7.71 secs. Chad’s Alin Ionut came second in 7.78 seconds, while Turkey’s Mikdat Sevier completed the podium in 7.86 seconds.
