Apple launched the new Apple Watch Ultra, at the ‘Far Out’ event in 2022, for those who are highly athletic such as expert divers, skydivers, and ultra-marathoners. The Cupertino giant was working on it for a long time.
There were rumors of the company launching the Apple Watch Rugged Edition, which later came out as the Apple Watch Ultra. It has a large display and is designed for rough activities. The watch has a sapphire crystal with a brightness of 2,000 nits.
The new Apple watch comes with a new button placed on the side with an improved digital crown, a 49 mm titanium case, as well as a new Action button.
The company has delivered a new Action button for different activities like trackback features, workout sessions, and compass waypoints.
With an insane battery life lasting 36 hours on a single charge, the Apple Watch Ultra allows enhancement of the battery life to 60 hours with the new low-power mode.
The watch has a backtrack feature that helps to retrace your steps if you are lost in a forest and comes with an upgraded multi-band GPS with a new L5 frequency. In addition, it is resistant to watersports as it has WR 100 water resistance and it immediately executes the depth app for scuba diving. It displays time, temperature, and depth. The Apple Watch Ultra is also EN 13319 attested for scuba divers.
