Esther Amic is part of this new generation of actress. Passionate, this 24 year old Vacoasian can’t imagine herself without the stage.
She has played in more than fifteen plays with the Komiko troupe. Slipping into the skin of different characters with ease, the young woman lives her passion to the fullest.
And this one does not date from yesterday: “I always liked the role plays since I am very small. In college I discovered theater and I also had the chance to participate in several drama festivals.”
In 2019 on the encouragement of her teachers, she applied to be part of the Komiko troupe: “My teachers invited me to submit my application to be part of Komiko which was looking for new actors at the time. I applied and after a short audition I was selected.
Taken under the guidance of Miselaine Duval, Esther spent two years with the troupe: “Miselaine taught me everything. I spent two wonderful years playing with the Komiko full time. I also gained notoriety while remaining humble. Plus, it’s always a pleasure to meet people who love the way you play on stage.”
Evolving today as a freelancer, the artist can’t imagine herself without the stage: “I’m certainly a university counselor now, but I can’t imagine myself without the theater. I always look forward to Komiko’s next role.”
