A cabinet reshuffle has been decided by the Prime Minister. Anjiv Ramdhany and Dorine Chuckory have joined the Cabinet of Ministers. The former, elected from constituency no. 6, is the new Minister for the Civil Service, while Chukory, elected from constituency no. 1, has been entrusted with the Ministry of Commerce. Vikram Hurdoyal, previously Minister of Public Service, has been transferred to the Ministry of Agro-Industry, which Maneesh Gobin lose.
The country also has two new PPSs. They are Kenny Dhunnoo, MP for No 17, and Vikash Nuckcheddy, MP for No 9. These appointments come two days after the resignation of Rajanah Dhaliah as PPS.
