Akil And Avinash Bissessur And Doomila Moheeputh Regain Their Freedom

A new development this morning in the Rose-Hill court. Through its representative, Yakrajsingh Ramsohok, the DPP announced that it had no objection to Akil Bissessur being released on parole. The bail was set at Rs 50,000 and the amount of the IOU at Rs 200,000. Avinash Bissessur and Doomila Moheeputh have also been released on bail. For the former, the bail amount is Rs 45,000 and that of the IOU Rs 200,000. Doomila Moheeputh will be released on bail of Rs 40,000 and an IOU of Rs 100,000.
