The Department of Education would like to inform parents whose children have been offered a place in an Academy and who now wish to transfer their Grade 10 child to another Academy, as well as parents who have applied for a place for their Grade 10 child in an Academy and have not been offered a place, that they can submit a new application as follows:
Parents are invited to visit one of the centers below, between 9am and 3pm this Friday, December 08, 2023, to complete the prescribed application form.
Centers: Ministère de l’Education, Port Louis, Sookdeo Bissoondoyal state college Rose-Belle, Ministère de l’Education Beau Bassin and Quatre Bornes SSS.
Documents required: child’s birth certificate, Responsible Party ID card, NCE results and letter of admission to Grade 10, 2024 in an academy, if the child already has it.
Candidates may apply for any number of Academies of their choice.
On the day of registration, successful candidates will be asked to choose their subject combination from those offered in the Academy to which they have been admitted.
Responsible parties who have previously applied for a place at an academy must submit a new application on the prescribed form within the specified deadline.

Applications received after the December 08 deadline will not be considered.
The NCE results were announced on December 1. The success rate announced by the MES is 74.6%, compared with 65.4% last year.
