Since 30 June, there have been 685 applications for the Premium Visa. This is what emerged from the Cabinet Meeting held on Friday.
Of these, 510 were approved, 64 did not meet the required criteria, 101 were incomplete and ten applicants were no longer interested in the visa. On the other hand, during the month of June, the Economic Development Board conducted online advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Two video clips, in English and French, were released to promote the Mauritian destination after the reopening and the Premium Visa package.
The experience of natural beauty and balanced lifestyle that could only be encountered on a rare holiday is now available, thanks to the Premium Travel Visa, to any non-citizen who intends to stay in Mauritius for a period of up to one year as a tourist, retiree or professional wishing to come with their family and conduct their business or work remotely from Mauritius.
