1850m (B46): The well backed outsider, Eight Cities nearly made it all with his lightweight. Apprentice Alvino Roy took the lead and he was able to relax Eight Cities in front. He seemed to have made the break at the beginning of the final straight. But Arlingtons Revenche, who was following in second position, fought back well to score his second win in a row.
