A corporal of the team was tested positive to COVID-19. Some 50 soldiers of the ‘Special Mobile Force’ (SMF) have been placed in isolation on the 20th of July. This is because a corporal posted in the same unit was tested positive to ‘COVID-19’.
It seems that during the last weekend, the corporal has been in contact with one of his relatives who works at ‘Tuna Fishing Ltd’, where several cases of the disease were detected recently. The corporal has not been on duty since last Friday and on resuming duty on Monday, 19th July, he performed a PCR test. The result received the next day, was revealed to be positive for the virus. So, the entire unit was placed in isolation.
