The 2nd Congress of the PTr-MMM-PMSD Alliance will finally be held in the municipality of Vacoas/Phoenix. Initially, the political platform had asked the authorities to hold the event at La Place Camion, opposite the Total petrol station in Vacoas. However, the police refused, arguing that the location was unsuitable for such an event.
In a letter dated 1 August 2023, the Office of the Commissioner of Police stated that holding the congress at this location could have serious implications for road traffic.
The Ptr-MMM-PMSD Alliance therefore took other steps, which were successful. The municipality of Vacoas/Phoenix responded positively to its request. The alliance will therefore hold its 2nd congress at the town hall’s on Friday 18 August.
The first congress of the PTR-MMM-PMSD Alliance was held at Mare-d’Albert on 28 July.
