Cash Call’s price of Rs 2000 (for a bet of Rs 100) at the opening of the odds-on Thursday, and punters will now get it at Rs 1400 in race 4. It will be his first race of the season and there have been some heavy betting on him. Punters also backed : Choir of Angels (from 1400 to 1000), Sockeroo (from 1800 to 1600), Steak And Ale (from 2000 to 1600) and Gunston (from 3000 to 2500) in the same race. They seemed not to be afraid of the favourite Sea Dance who easily won two weeks ago.
Huge bets have been placed on Charleston Hero (from 2000 to 1100) in race 5. The Vincent Allet’s trained horse was not that far last time out and punters seemed to be confident in his chances. The price of the favourite Blackburn Roc dropped from 210 to 240.
Masterofallisurvey’s price drifted from 2000 to 1300 in race 2. Though it will be hard to beat the favourite Go Jewel (from 190 to 190)
The feature race has not attracted many punters with the favourite Padre Pio being backed (from 220 to 180). His connections seem to be very confident.
