20 years after the album 16 ti morso nou lanfans and the incredible success of Ti marmit, the group Abaim has just released a version 2.0 of the title in collaboration with producer Raphaël Audibert. At the same time, the NGO is launching a call for participation to local artists. The objective is for them to show how the album 16 ti morso nou lanfans has left its mark on the collective memory.
We still hum them. How to forget the album 16 ti morso nou lanfans with the title Ti marmit. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the album, Abaim and producer Raphael Audibert have teamed up to release a 2.0 version of this hit: “I worked from the samples of the first live version of the song Ti marmit to offer a revisited version to the public. The new version was launched on November 11,” explains Raphaël.
The NGO is also calling on artists to participate: “We invite dancers, painters, digital creators among others to reappropriate the 16 ti morso nou lanfans and send us their creations by March of next year. The goal behind is to hold an exhibition in October 2023 to show how this album has left its mark as the cultural heritage of the country.”
