The leaders of Linion Pep Morisien faced the press this Friday afternoon. For Neena Ramdenee, one of them, “poverty is at all levels in Mauritius and the people are hungry.” She announced that a march will be held on 14 October in the capital. “It is a march to say no to poverty. It will start at the Cathedral Square and go to the Prime Minister’s (PM) office. We will deliver a letter to the PM,” she added. Neena Ramdenee stated that the objective is clear. The LPM wants that bread, cheese and fruits be distributed in schools but also during holidays.
