The final leg of the Sprint Series will be the main event of this Saturday at the Champ-de-mars racecourse. Walls Of Dubrovnik will have a tough task. He is aiming to win eight race in a row, but he will have to beat Undercover Agent.
Undercover Agent is the classiest horse of the lot. He has won two Group I events, the Princess Margaret Cup (1400m) in 2020 and the Barbé Cup (1600m) in 2021. He is still one of the horses with the best Merit Rating which is 90. A value he shares with Alshibaa and Frosted Gold.
He has shown signs of improvement in training. And, while he’s not yet at his peak, he’s still an opponent that shouldn’t be underestimated. He can attempt the ‘pillar to post’, unless Lickerio insists on command.
In the absence of Color My Fate, Walls Of Dubrovnik will be in a strong position to claim a eight win in a row and at the same time share the Sprint Series title with Color My Fate and Triple Fate Line, winners of the first two rounds.
The Shyam Hurchund-traines horse will try to maintain his invincibility after seven successes acquired by racing at the front, following close to the leader or coming to the finish after racing at the back of the field. Walls Of Dubrovnik is in great shape and has given full satisfaction in training. He returns after a short break and will be the horse to beat.
Lickerio will race against very good horses. He will have to his best to win at weight for age. He fancies racing in front, and he could find opponents who are just as fast as he is at the start.
Iditarod Trail will be well suited by a fast pace. He is a strong finisher who is on the up during his last gallops. He can upset the odds.
