The barrister held a press conference this afternoon along with the leader of the Rassemblement Mauricien, Nando Bodha. He said that the government is running the country in such a way to take it adrift. “We are on the brink of a precipice”, deplores the barrister. “The population can testify to the situation in the country, whether it is economic, social, or democratic”, he said. Arassen Kallee is not a political ‘tenor’ and said that it is “a great honor” for him to be at the side of Nando Bodha whom he has known since 1995. His father worked for Nando Bodha. “I resigned yesterday from all the MSM bodies and the two public bodies where I was appointed. It was not difficult for me ” said Arassen Kallee.
As a reminder, Arassen Kallee resigned yesterday from all the MSM bodies as well as from the Employment Relations Tribunal and the Veterinary Council. He had been appointed by Sir Anerood Jugnauth on these two bodies, but his contract was renewed by Pravind Jugnauth. Arassen Kallee also deplores that the country is shaken by scandals. Arassen Kallee has joined Nando Bodha’s Rassemblement Mauricien. For him, this party is the reincarnation of the values and principles of Sir Anerood Jugnauth.
