“What did the PTr leader do when he was in power?” This was Joe Lesjongard’s question at a press conference this morning, where the MSM wanted to respond to the comments of the PTr leader during the Reds’ congress yesterday. “He had been in power for a total of 14 years but has not made any changes.” For the Energy Minister, Navin Ramgoolam had ample opportunity to change things. “But now, he is talking about it,” he said. He added that the population is not fooled. “They are not going to fall into the trap“, underlined Joe Lesjongard, who highlights that the people support the MSM. For him, the MSM conventions have been a total success.
MSM President Joe Lesjongard was quick to deliver a big rebuke to Navin Ramgoolam over a “rumoured alliance between the MSM and the Labour Party.” Like Pravind Jugnauth, the President of the MSM said that it is out of the question that his party begs for an alliance with any political formation, let alone the Labour Party. “Zame noun dimann lallians! To pe rever?” he challenged Navin Ramgoolam.
Moreover, the MSM President said that the eleven conventions of the Sun Party had been “a success“.
