Christian Eriksen had a cardiac arrest and “was not with us” before being quickly revived on the pitch, Danish team doctor Morten Boesen revealed this on Sunday. “He was gone,” Boesen said. “We started cardiac resuscitation and we managed to do it. How close were we to losing him? I do not know, but we got it after defibrillation so it’s pretty quick. As for the details, I am not a cardiologist. I will leave it to the experts at the hospital for the rest.
