Punters seemed to believe in a victory of Flowerscape in the 8th race. The Rameshwar Gujadhur’s trained horse finised second on his last outing. There have been lots of bets placed on that horse with his odds going up from 13/10 (or Rs 230 win for a bet of Rs 100) to 24/40 (170). He might be the banker of the day.
Carlton Height who was partly owned by Nitesh Gurroby, arrested in the wake of the investigation surrounding the seizure of Rs 3.6 billion of drugs in Pointe-aux-Canonniers basck in May 2021, was also heavily backed with odd fluctuating from 19/1 to 11/1 (2000 to 1200).
